Privacy Policy

Ultimate Poop Stacker ("the game") is made by Clendi Villar ("we", "us"). We built it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the game uses, why, and the choices you have. It covers the game on Android and iPhone and this website.

The short version

  • Your progress, coins, pet and settings are saved on your phone, not on our servers.
  • The world boards (leaderboards) get your scores with a random game id, your flag and, if you choose, a username. Never your real name, email, contacts or photos.
  • Location is optional, never for players under 13, and your exact coordinates never leave your phone.
  • Ads are optional videos you choose to watch. Kids under 13 only get non-personalized, child-directed ads.
  • We do not sell your information.
  • You can delete your world board data at any time from the game or by email. See Delete my data.

What stays on your phone

Your progress, coins, unlocks, stats, best scores, pet, cards, settings, the player name you type in your profile and the flag you pick are saved only on your device. We can't see them. If you delete the game or clear its data, they are gone, and we can't bring them back.

Age check

The first time you open the game, it asks for your birth year. The game keeps only an age group (under 13, 13 to 15, or 16 and over), never the year itself. The age group decides which features you get: players under 13 can't type a name or username, can't use location and only get child-directed ads.

World boards (leaderboards)

When you play, the game sends your scores to our leaderboard server so you can rank against players around the world. With each score it sends:

You show up under a generated temporary name (like "SirStinker#4821"). The player name you type in your profile is never sent.

Usernames, player cards and reports

If you want your player card on the boards, you can create a username after accepting the World Board Rules. Usernames are checked automatically, and other players can report or block you. Moderators can reset a username, remove scores, or pause an account. To handle reports we keep who reported whom, why and when.

Players under 13 can't type a username: they choose one of the game's generated names.

Game integrity checks

To keep the boards fair, the game on Android asks Google Play's integrity service to confirm that scores come from a real copy of the game on a real device. Google gives us a yes or no answer. Google's own privacy policy applies to that check.

Approximate location (optional)

Only if you choose "my points go to: where I am", the game asks your phone for its approximate location (not precise GPS). The game turns it into a country and, in the USA, a state and zip code, on your phone. Only those codes are sent with your scores, so you can rank in your state and zip code. Your coordinates are never sent to us or stored by us.

Players under 13 never see this option. You can switch back to your flag at any time, and you can turn location off in your phone's settings.

Ads

The game shows rewarded video ads only when you choose to watch one (for example, to get a rescue or bonus chips). Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect information from your device, such as its advertising id, IP address and general information about the device, to show ads, count them and prevent fraud.

Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases

Optional purchases (like Ad-Free and the Producer packs) are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details. To check that a purchase is real and to restore it, we receive a purchase receipt from the store.

If you buy a Producer pack, you choose a name for the game's credits. We store that name with the purchase receipt and order number so we can verify it, show the name in the public credits list and remove it if the purchase is refunded. Producer names follow the same rules as usernames.

Notifications

Reminders (like the Daily Challenge or pet care) are scheduled on your phone. We don't run a server that sends them, and we don't collect anything to send them. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.

Sharing pictures

The SHARE button makes a picture on your phone and hands it to the share menu you choose. We don't upload anything. What happens next depends on the app you share it to.

Beta test reports

Test versions of the game (for example, through Google Play testing or Apple's TestFlight) may send anonymous technical reports to our test server: when the game starts, game results, errors and how smoothly it runs. They use the same random game id and are only used to fix bugs before launch. The store versions don't send them.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for others' marketing. We only use these service providers to run the game:

ProviderWhat for
CloudflareHosts our leaderboard server, its database and this website.
Google (AdMob)Optional rewarded ads.
Google PlayDownloads, purchases and game integrity checks on Android.
Apple (App Store, TestFlight)Downloads, purchases and beta testing on iPhone.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect players' safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the game (in which case this policy keeps applying).

How long we keep information

InformationHow long
Progress, pet, settingsOn your phone only, until you delete the game or its data.
World board scoresBoards reset every month. Each month's top 10 (name, card, flag, title, score) stay in the Hall of Poop until you delete your data.
Username and player cardUntil you delete your world board data.
Reports and moderation notesAs long as needed to handle them and keep the boards safe.
Producer names and purchase receiptsAs long as the purchase is valid, plus what store and tax rules require.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the UK, California or other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your information, to object to or limit how it's used, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We'll answer every request, usually within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights. We don't sell or "share" personal information as California law defines those words.

When the law in your country requires a legal basis, we use: your consent (location, personalized ads), what's needed to provide the game you asked for (boards, purchases), and our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and safe (anti-cheat, moderation).

Children

The game is for everyone, kids included, and it is built so children can play safely:

Parents: you can ask us to review or delete your child's world board data at any time by writing to privacy@poopstacker.com.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the game and our server, keep server access limited to the people who run the game, and collect as little as we can in the first place. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we keep.

Where information is processed

Our server runs on Cloudflare's worldwide network, so information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on our providers' legal safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is important, we'll also tell you in the game.
